Camp01 was assigned by August Medical Foundation along with its coalition of US and international based institutions to advise and design a proposal for funding to provide healthcare services to Syrian refugees in Jordan and elsewhere through its mobile eye clinic; research epidemiology of vision associated conditions in the refugee population; and provide education on eyesight related conditions to local doctors, nurses and other healthcare workers.
Our founder is an independent trustee for the Start Network Board since 2015. The Start network is a UK based network consisting of 42 leading NGO members. The network encourages collaboration on the ground to transform crisis and emergency response. It also provides funding, innovative solution, as well as share knowledge and promote effective dialogue between members and partners. The network is governed by the board of trustees who review, recommends, and approves policies, strategies, projects, … etc.
Global Matters is a speaker series designed by Carlson School of Management in UoM to enrich Minnesota professionals' global business acumen. The event features speakers at the forefront of global business who share their expertise in emerging issues in international business and management. Camp01 Founder was invited to discuss how to better integrate the public and private sectors into the humanitarian aid process.
Camp01 is represented by our founder in the World Refugee Council (WRC) since 2017 to offer bold strategic thinking to The United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees about how the international community can comprehensively respond to refugees based on the principles of international cooperation and responsibility sharing. They are exploring advances in technology, innovative financing opportunities and prospects for strengthening existing international law to craft and advance a strategic vision for refugees and the associated countries.
Our founder planned and executed community campaign to collect in kind contributions in support of the Children's Surgery International (CSI) programs. In cooperation with August Medical Foundation and her community they managed to fully stock the child life "distraction" kits with art supplies, toys and more! These items will be sent with CSI teams heading to Liberia, Ethiopia and Tanzania this winter and spring to help kids pass the time with a little less worry before surgery.
On January 24th, 2019 our founder took part of the launch of the WRC Report " A call to Action: Transforming the Global Refugee System" at the United Nations Headquarter in New York. A bold but practical plan of action for governments and stakeholders to make the refugee response system fair, effective and efficient for refugees and governments alike; was put in the hands of decision makers worldwide.

We partner with corporations, government entities, experts, influencers and celebrities to further the causes we choose to take on, reach goals and ensure balancedsuccess.
