Letter from the Founder

I established Camp01 after my transformative tenure as the Chief Executive Officer of International Humanitarian City in Dubai, UAE. International Humanitarian City is the largest humanitarian logistics hub in the world in part because of its strategic location between Africa and Asia.  The UAE is one of the highest donors of aid in the world and is home to great achievements in the humanitarian development sector.  I have been extremely fortunate in my career to be at the forefront of the UAE’s landmark philanthropic and developmental initiatives. I have seen first-hand how the vision of goodwill, of reaching out to support those that need help most and of caring for those within and beyond borders, has positively changed the lives of those impacted by some of the greatest humanitarian crises faced by and still facing mankind.  This vision is for me, and I believe for all of us, a natural reaction based on our common innate knowledge that we are all one, that our time on this glorious earth is short and that there is no greater employment of our effort than to assist those less fortunate.   I am ever inspired by the generosity and dignity inherent in each of us.  I am certain that together we can create a framework and from that framework sustainable opportunities for those amongst us now and for future generations to not just survive, but prosper.

Camp 01 was established to enable governments, agencies and private sector entities to effectively participate in transforming the lives of those in need.  Our role is to guide our partners and clients with the needed research, advice, planning, management and impact assessment to provide both short and long-term solutions to populations in need. We evaluate and participate in humanitarian and development projects that address real challenges with real solutions and each project is continuously assessed for its impact on the intended beneficiaries, some of the most vulnerable populations around the world.

We look forward to work and partner with like minded organizations to support humanitarian and development programs, campaigns and social movements; to be your trusted guide in the local,  regional and international humanitarian and development sectors.
